Dr. Cyn’s session titled Essential Skills for Change: Teaching Social Movements will be presented as a component of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Annual Program Meeting “It’s time to act. Defining and reckoning with anti-racists social work education” to be held Oct 26-29 in Atlanta, Georgia. The session will discuss work completed by students in Dr. Cyn’s graduate level policy courses as published in Creating Change: The online journal of zines about social movements and present best practices for teaching social movements in social work education.
